Bundling images into one PDF
This is the reverse trip: a stack of images becomes one PDF, a page per image, each page sized to its picture so the aspect ratio holds. It turns a run of phone photos into a single file to email, or a folder of JPGs into a portable portfolio, without Photoshop or Acrobat.
What goes in and what comes out
- JPG, PNG, and WebP are accepted. JPEG keeps its original compression, so a 2 MB photo stays about 2 MB inside the PDF.
- HEIC from newer iPhones is not supported in Chrome or Firefox yet, so convert it to JPG or PNG first.
- Each image becomes its own page, sized to the image, so a 1920 by 1080 image makes a 1920 by 1080 point page.
- For JPEGs, the finished PDF weighs about the sum of your images plus a few kilobytes of structure, so ten 5 MB photos make a roughly 50 MB file. WebP gets re-encoded to PNG during embedding, which can come out heavier than the source.
Ordering the pages
Use the up and down arrows on each image card to set the order, top to bottom, and the PDF follows it. Remove one with the button on its card. The images you already loaded stay in memory, so trimming the set is quicker than starting over.
Before you export
- Can I put several images on one page?
- No, every image gets its own page. Combine them into a single image in a photo editor first, then bring that one image here.
- Can I force US Letter or A4 pages?
- Not yet; each page sizes itself to its image to keep the resolution faithful. Fixed print sizes are on the roadmap, and the feedback link is the fastest way to push them up it.
- Can I add page numbers or a header?
- No. For numbered, headed documents, lay them out in a word processor and export to PDF from there. This tool trades layout features for speed and privacy.
- Why is the PDF so large?
- Each image embeds at full quality, so the PDF is about as big as the images combined. Shrink the source images in the Image Compressor first if size matters.
